the courtroom

On Friday 30.10.2015, a memory plaque donated by Anna-Maja Henriksson was unveiled.

Pedersöre courthouse

The Pedersöre courthouse was completed in 1787 to meet the needs of the Middle Ostrobothnian Judicial District. The construction was overseen by Master Shipbuilder Johan Jakobsson Klubb (1750–1820) from Östensö, Pedersöre. The blueprints were approved by King Gustav III of Sweden, and it is believed to be the only surviving courthouse in Finland from that period that remains on its original site. The last court session in the building took place on 16 March 1967. The commemorative plaque was donated by Minister of Justice Anna-Maja Henriksson on 7 January 2014.
